In Kaunas, next to the Vilnius - Klaipėda highway, a more than 22,000 sq. m, four-storey administrative, retail, and warehouse building has been developed by the Kosmelita Group, which operates the cosmetics retail chain Eurokos.
Peikko Lietuva also contributed to the implementation of this project. A 12 × 12 m structural grid was designed for the building, with loads reaching up to 21 kN/m². For this solution, DELTABEAM® Composite Beams with heights ranging from 400 to 600 mm and precast slab elements with a height of 400 mm were selected.
DELTABEAM® D40–D60 profiles were chosen for the load-bearing beams. The maximum beam length reached 16 meters, with each beam weighing between 5 and 6 tons. In total, approximately 1,600 meters of beams were produced for the project.
In the distribution and warehousing area, special attention was given to meeting technological requirements — it was essential to ensure large spans and sufficient space for storage and the movement of warehouse equipment.
Smooth collaboration with the contractor’s design team helped optimize structural solutions and ensure efficient project execution, as well as the successful integration of Peikko solutions, which guarantee a fast, efficient, and high-quality installation process on-site.
